The beach and its path are likely the only thing keeping people in this area. It’s a truly unique and special location. Water is crystal clear. Be aware that the beach is full of small stones.By Courtney Murphy (6 months ago)Turunc is an Idyllic resort situated in the southern part of Marmaris and surrounded by the beautiful Taurus Mountains. It has a sweeping bay of clear clean Aegean sea, perfect for swimming and beachside bars and restaurants and places to stay surround the bay. There is also a Marina where Boats operate tours and days out to explore the beautiful bays and coves. We really enjoyed days out on the boat visitng Dolphin and Turtle bays.
The resort has a weekly market, a variety of shops and good standard restaurants.

Fantastic place. Staff so friendly. Nothering is too much trouble.. for them.. and the food is to die for.. 100% . They work long hours credit to each and every one. Positives:
Rooms – very clean and always kept to a high standard by staff.
Staff – Bar tenders and waiters were extremely friendly and happy to help whatever you needed.
Sunbeds – every trip we went on people moaned they couldn’t get a sunbed. We came down some days at 11am and could get a bed by the pool or on the beach, we found no need to get up early to make sure we could sunbathe throughout the day.
Location – views from the rear of the hotel were lovely, it was right on beach front near hundreds of bars, restaurants, shops and places to book trips. A bus to the market was 10 lira (roughly 50p) or a 40 minute walk.Downsides:
Food – restaurant served same thing pretty much every day. If you like left overs you’ll love this hotel, shepherds pie for lunch then meat pie for tea and then the next day meat and mash and so on until it had all gone. The hotel says its vegan friendly … it is not unless you like rice, chips and salad with every meal.
The entertainment as of 10pm every night was cash bingo bongo (clearly someone mention bongos bingo and they got wrong idea). This is every night and never seems to be popular. As of 11pm you can go to bar street, this is dependant on the amount of people wanting to go… in our 10 night stay this trip went once, but still it is a staple on entertainment board every night because the guy who does entertainment thinks it will be popular.
Drinks – just be prepared not all drinks are included on all inclusive (they do have a small list of cocktails included).Despite the negatives we would visit again in the future.

Location wise the hotel is right on the beach with a pier of its own. Although the pool and its own beach is not big, still it has enough umbrellas for its customers. Great beach a fantastic place to go for a walk bars restaurant shops water sports and some fantastic hotels
Marmaris Halk Plaji is a long beach alined with the city sea view and paved by the bike and walking road which is totally #ACCESSIBLE. One can find lots of sun lovers in summer time and kitesurfers in winter time with the south winds. The beach is a nice place for pictures in front of the boats, specially with the sunrise cause the sun pops up from the hill right in front of the beach. PS And don’t miss the chance to visit one of the cafes along the beach !
PS This beach spot is a good anchor place in north winds for sailing yachts. In summer it might be too loud, but in winter time much calmer.
it’s like a strange built up wizard of oz type pathways on beachfront!!! to different seating areas and a couple of ice cream stops!!! the rest is within hotel and eating in and drinks kind of supposed stay right on the dot there too!!! i don’t know i wasn’t feeling very well at all at this point!!! (i think it’s the one-there’s a queer capitano type bloke who skulks around supposedly repping about his boat trip!!! and late night does ice creams in a set up mini bar stool thing!!!)
A sandy beach stretches on the part of the coast of Marmaris and belongs to the municipality, it is crowded most of the time in the morning and evening, there are public sanitary facilities and places for changing clothes, as well as places for bathing and washing the body after going to the sea. There is a nearby park that has children’s games.
It wasn’t so clean, they don’t provide sunbads unfortunately, just an umbrella.
